According to information documented by his family, Mohammed left his home at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 14 August 2025, heading toward the Hammam al-Samra area in Gaza City. Contact with him was lost shortly after he left, and by around 7:00 p.m. his mobile phone had been switched off. Since that time, the family has been unable to reach him or obtain any information about his whereabouts.

At the time of his disappearance, several areas of Gaza City, including the Shuja’iyya neighborhood—through which Mohammed is believed to have passed—were witnessing Israeli military presence and operations.
